About Fresh Wreaths

1. What are fresh wreaths made of?
Fresh wreaths are handcrafted from natural materials like Noble Fir, Cedar, and Juniper, with accents such as Salal and Red Huckleberry for color and texture. Each wreath is assembled soon after harvesting so it arrives full, fragrant, and vibrant.

2. Where does WreathCo get its greenery?
We work with experienced harvesters in Washington and Northern California who gather evergreens by hand. Our focus is always on quality, care, and respect for where these greens come from.

3. What are artificial wreaths made of?
Most artificial wreaths are made from plastics such as PVC or polyethylene, often supported with metal wire or foam. They can be stored and reused, but they don’t carry the natural scent or texture of real greenery.
Natural wreaths reflect the season they come from, carrying the color, scent, and texture of that year’s harvest—a small reminder of how the holidays mark time and bring nature into our homes.

4. Are WreathCo wreaths environmentally friendly?
 Each wreath is made from natural plant materials that can be composted after the holidays. The wreaths are sealed in a thin plastic bag to help preserve freshness during shipping. We’re actively researching alternatives to reduce plastic use in the future while still ensuring your wreath arrives in great condition. The shipping box and inserts are fully recyclable.

 

Care & Longevity

5. How long do fresh wreaths last indoors and outdoors?
Fresh wreaths usually stay vibrant for about three to six weeks outdoors, or two to four weeks indoors. Cool, shaded areas help them hold color and scent longer. Misting with water every few days helps, too.

6. How do I keep a fresh wreath green longer?
Hang your wreath on a shaded or north-facing door, avoid direct sunlight, and mist lightly every few days. Good airflow helps it last longer indoors.

7. How should I care for my wreath after it arrives?
Open your box as soon as it arrives. Remove the plastic bag, fluff the branches gently by hand to wake them up, and adjust the bow if you included one. Hang the wreath in a shaded area with good airflow, and mist it occasionally to maintain freshness.

8. Can I hang a fresh wreath indoors?
Yes. Just keep it away from heaters, fireplaces, or direct sunlight. Indoor wreaths need more frequent misting to maintain their color and scent.

9. What size are WreathCo wreaths?
Every WreathCo wreath measures about 26 inches across, a size that fits most doors and entryways. They don’t include a hanger, since many customers reuse the one from last year. If you need a new one, add a hook or ribbon of your choice. We always encourage reuse to help cut down on waste.


Ordering & Shipping

10. When should I order to receive my wreath before Christmas?
At checkout, you can choose your desired shipping date instead of a shipping week. Most wreaths arrive within 2–5 days once they’re in UPS’s hands, depending on how far you are from Washington State. Ordering by December 10 for East Coast addresses and December 13 for the West Coast ensures on-time arrival for Christmas.

11. Can I choose a specific delivery week?
Yes. During checkout, you can pick your desired shipping date. We schedule production and shipping to match that window, and you’ll receive tracking details once your wreath is on the way.

12. How does shipping work?
We offer free UPS Ground shipping anywhere in the continental United States. Once your wreath ships, you’ll receive a tracking number by email. We don’t currently offer expedited or two-day shipping, since we prefer a simple, reliable process for live greenery.

13. Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico?
At this time, we ship only within the lower 48 states. Live greenery has a limited lifespan, and longer transit routes can affect freshness.

14. What if my wreath arrives damaged or late?
If anything goes wrong with your order, reach out right away. We’ll replace the wreath or issue a refund. Our goal is for every delivery to feel like a special moment at your front door.


Gifts & Programs

15. How do gift messages work?
You can add a personal note during checkout. The message appears on the packing slip inside the box, along with care information. Prices are never shown, and each address receives its own message slip.

16. Can I ship to multiple addresses?
Yes. WreathCo uses Giftship to make multi-address gifting easy. You can send wreaths to several people in one checkout. If you’re shipping more than ten, visit our Corporate Gifting page to upload a spreadsheet of orders and view volume discounts.

17. Do you offer fundraising or partnership programs?
Yes. We partner with schools, nonprofits, and individuals each holiday season. We also run an influencer program for anyone who’d like to earn side income by sharing wreaths with their audience. Earnings can go to you or a charity of your choice.

18. Can I preorder for next year?
Preorders usually open in early fall. Join our email list to get early access when ordering begins. Many of our designs sell out before mid-December.
